Here are some of the letters we've received!
Hi, I am a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force currently deployed supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. We were recently given a stack of comic books with your address on them. I just wanted to thank you on behalf of our unit. We are a medical group at a secret location. The comics you sent are being used to entertain the many patients we receive who have been injured or gotten ill during service to our country. Our sincerest thanks and appreciation to you for your thoughtfulness and your generosity. Sincerely, SSgt Roy 485th EMDG
Thank you for your continued support to our deployed soldiers. Your generosity and efforts are greatly appreciated. MAJ Sam Barton
To Whom it May Concern,
I would like to express my thanks for your sending the package of comic books to us here in Iraq. We are with a USMC transportation unit that has been "in theatre" for over three months now. The comic books are a first of their kind to be received here and are a welcome diversion from our
daily missions. The Marines want to pass on their thanks to whomever decided to implement this program. Your patriotism and genoristy are much appreciated!
Semper Fi,
Captain Benjamin Brown
Thank you for sending the package of comics. The other soldiers in my unit and I appreciate your gesture. It is always nice to recieve mail from home, especially when it is unexpected. These comics will definately help to pass the time here. As you probably know things are starting to wind down here for us and we should be on our way home soon. Thank you for thinking of us, and take care.

Thanks for the care package of the comics. The Marines in my unit enjoyed
them. There was a shortage of reading material, and the comics were a nice getaway. Thanks for the support, you are true patriots.

much appreciated. I do hope that all is well with you, and thanks again!
CPT Justin Thomas
Thank you for your support of the troops here in Iraq. I was a big "Fantastic Four" fan. I look forward to reading the comics. The weather is hotter then Haiti. We are doing OK and continue to help rebuild the city of Kirkuk, Iraq.
God Bless America!
Take care,
Lt Winschel
I want to thank you for sending me the stack of comics over here in Iraq. It means a lot to know that you folks at home are thinking of us over
here. I will certainly share them with my fellow soldiers. Thanks again,
SFC Gary Jewell
Chris: We received the package of comics and the soldiers really enjoyed them. Thanks you very much. Now that the direct fighting phase of this war has finished (tell that to the Baathists), it is nice to know that people at home are still thinking about us. LTC James Bayley, 404th CA BN Surgeon.
Dear Chris,
It is extremly thoughtful for you to offer these comics to my shipmates and myself. The gesture was great, and makes you think that I guess our hard wark does not go unnoticed back home. Thank you again. My friends and I are enjoying the gift.
Sincerly,
